Fall & Spring Outdoor Leagues

The BASC leagues offers the the best recreational soccer leagues in Southeast Iowa.  We offers an 8 game season for all ages in both the Spring (March and April) and Fall Seasons (September and October).  All game are played on the lush fields of the Burlington Rec-Plex. 

The BASC believes that all players should have the opportunity to have the ball at their feet during the game.  Ball skill develpment is crucial for the young player.  Thus we have designed our leagues to foster this development.  We play small sided games up to the U14 age group.  We believe that no player should be “lost in the crowd” when learning the game of soccer. 

  • Pee-wee thru U6: 3 vs 3 no goalies
  • U8: 4 vs 4 no goalies
  • U10: 6 vs 6 w/ goalies
  • U12: 8 vs 8 w/ goalies
  • U14 thru High School: 11 vs 11 with goalies

The 2010 Spring League registration will close on February 13th.  To register for the 2010 Spring League you can download a copy of the 2010 Spring League registration form in the PDF Quick Forms section of our home page, or you can click on the link below and register online.  Please make sure all registrations are postmarked by the 13th.  The first game of the 2010 Spring League will be Sunday March 28th.

Summer Outdoor Leagues

Together with the Burlington Regional RecPlex, the BASC offers kids age 6 through high school a  chance to continue to develop their soccer skills throughout the summer. With games on either  Tuesday or Thursday nights at the RecPlex, these exciting short-sided games (usually 6 vs. 6)  make  sure that the soccer is as hot as the weather. Interested players should register for the  summer leagues through the Burlington Regional RecPlex.

Winter Indoor Leagues

Even during the cold of winter, the BASC plays on. Working with the Burlington YMCA/YWCA, the BASC offers short-sided indoor leagues every Sunday night, for Junior High grades 6-8 and High School grades 9-12 teams. All players must register as a team with the Burlington YMCA/YWCA. Ask your coach to inquire about signing up for the Winter League as the fall season comes to a close.
